Candy Kiss Cookies

1 3/4 cup flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 cup shortening 1/2 cup peanut butter 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup packed brown sugar 1 egg 2 Tbls. vanilla 1 (12-oz.) bag unwrapped candy kisses Cream shortening, sugars, peanut butter, egg, milk and vanilla; beat well. Add dry ingredients. Shape into balls and roll balls in sugar. Can be chilled before shaping. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 minutes on cookie sheet. Remove from oven. Place kiss (unwrapped) on a cookie and press down. Return to oven 2-3 minutes. Makes 3-4 dozen cookies. Send us a comment on a requesting recipe for pinkpals to add as a post. Then we will add it.
