Candy!

Hi! We (Lolly, Snickers, and Popi) made chocolate! We experimented by adding stuff to create a chocolate/candy taste. Popi made a bitter, dark chocolate simalar to Hot chocolate. It was liquidy and full of sugar! This is what it looked like! I know it looks really discusting, but it's good for being made by a kid!

Next is Lolly's! She had a lumpy, very sugary, brown in random shapes. It tasted very sugary and great! It had white and brown sugar. Just like mine, it looks like dirt but it tastes so good! This is Lolly's sugar!

Then comes Snickers! Her's looked exactly like Lolly's! The only difference was in taste! Snickers added some more cinnamon. Both tasted great and looked bad! Here is Snickers sugar!

Now we all tasted each others to determind who won. Popi tasted first and liked Lolly's better.

Next Snickers tasted and liked Popi's better. This is it, Lolly tasted next and liked Popi's better! Yeah! Popi won! You go! Maybe someday I will be succsesful, with my strange tasting chocolate! Yummy!

Long Lake Conservation Center!

Hi everyone! Sorry about all the pictures! New thing! All the pictures will be on the bottom of the side. Keep watching for them. Anyway, I went to this awesome camp called Long Lake Conservation Center (conservation means they don't waste anything, so to get an award we had to eat and drink everything we put on our plate. I thout that was a good idea. You should try it for a week!) I went there for 3 days and 2 nights. We learned about different animals (scince it was through school) then played games outside in the snow! My favorite part was the food! It was the best food I ever tasted! We had huge pancakes, bread, soup, popcorn, lemonaid, mashed potatoes, pizza, cookies, rice krispy bars, cake and much more! I really enjoyed the camp because they mixed you up so then you could make new friends, and I did! I made like 7 new friends! I think it is good to mix it up, because you never know what a person is like until you get to know them. Next year we will be going in the Spring, but surprisingly it was really warm there. the room we stayed in had heated floors, 4 bunk beds, 2 sinks, bathroom, and a shower! I really enjoyed my trip and can't wait for next summer! Have a great day! Popi!

Basketball

Hey everyone! Popi here! I wanted to tell you about my basketball game last Saturday. We won 16 to 13 (it was a close one!) I had really good defense and I had a lot of fun! I suggest basketball as a sport to people who are signing up or thinking about it! 2 weeks ago (on Saturday) I had a different game, it was awesome, we one but I do not remember the score. During that game I got 4 baskets and a couple of them were swishes (meaning the ball just swung in without hitting the rim or backboard.) My team members are really fun and I enjoy playing with them. My dad is the coach and he teaches us well. Him and the assistant coach are teaching us how to dribble behind our backs so that we can fake the other players. I hope that we win the other games but most of all I hope we use teamwork. If we use teamwork we will do very well in basketball and in life. Have fun on pinkpals.tk and have a good day! ~ Popi!

OBAMA IS PRESIDENT

Obama is president! He will to a great job. But we all need to help him. You could volunteer with a big group for 5 hours and they will give you a free cup of coffee. I know not many people like coffee (because I don't!) Do you? Maybe you could start doing chores around the house and make money to buy something and donate or just donate the money. We once donated 807 hair and hygiene products to Guatemala. We asked our neighbors for help. Then we bought about 100 things buy ourselves. It was just me (Popi), Lolly, Snickers and my mom. More ideas coming later of how to donate. Do you donate once a week? (I hope so) Do you like the movies we post? What can we change to make the movies better? Popi

Hi everyone!  Popi here!  Have you read the book the tale of Dexperax (Sorry I have no idea how to spell that!)  It's a really good book that in my opinion is sad.  But sometimes sad is good!  Because it is all about a little mouse named Desperax.  This little mouse is a different little mouse, (not that different is bad! :-) because instead of eating paper from a book like other mice do in the castle they live in he reads the paper in the books.  But the most strangest thing is he admires humans.  He loves to watch the princess who lives in the castle.  They become good friends until Dexperax gets thrown into the dungoen!  In order to save himself from the mean and evil big rats you have to read the book!  I do not want to give it away!  Write us a comment about the book by clicking comment and clicking anymous and typing something in to me then I check it and it goes to our site for everyone to see!

Candy Kiss Cookies

1 3/4 cup flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 cup shortening 1/2 cup peanut butter 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup packed brown sugar 1 egg 2 Tbls. vanilla 1 (12-oz.) bag unwrapped candy kisses Cream shortening, sugars, peanut butter, egg, milk and vanilla; beat well. Add dry ingredients. Shape into balls and roll balls in sugar. Can be chilled before shaping. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 minutes on cookie sheet. Remove from oven. Place kiss (unwrapped) on a cookie and press down. Return to oven 2-3 minutes. Makes 3-4 dozen cookies. Send us a comment on a requesting recipe for pinkpals to add as a post. Then we will add it.
